Custom lead generation software / Construction & Building Products
Custom lead generation software for construction suppliers
Every project starts with a permit and a licensed contractor. Both are public, and both are early.
Sources this runs on
- County and municipal building permits
- State contractor licence boards
- Public procurement and bid award postings
- Secretary of State business registrations
Mapped for your states and counties before development starts — what each body publishes, how often, and whether contact detail is attached.
Selling into construction means finding the job before the order is placed, and construction is unusually generous about announcing itself. Permits are filed. Contractors are licensed. Public projects are bid and awarded in the open.
The problem is format, not availability. Every county publishes differently, and nobody sells a clean joined view of your specific territory. That is a build.
The commercial terms
What breaks in this industry
Projects are found too late
By the time a job is visible on site, the material orders are placed.
Bid platforms are expensive and generic
Subscription platforms cover the large public jobs well and the mid-market badly, which is where most suppliers actually sell.
Contractor lists go stale
Licences lapse, firms dissolve and new entrants appear constantly, and a static list misses all of it.
Territory data is fragmented
A rep covering six counties is working six different publishing formats by hand.
Three builds that fix it
Multi-county permit feed
One normalised feed of building permits across every county in your territory, filtered to the permit types and valuations that matter to your product, with the contractor of record and property details attached. Runs daily and alerts on matches.
Licensed-contractor database
The state contractor licence board turned into a working prospect database: firm, licence class, status, issue date and public contact details, kept current as licences issue, renew and lapse, with new entrants flagged.
Public bid and award monitor
Watches public procurement postings and award notices across your states for the project categories you supply, so both the bidding window and the winning contractor arrive as alerts.
The public sources behind it
Mapped for your states and counties before development starts — what each one publishes, how often, and what contact detail is attached.
Coverage is uneven by jurisdiction, and that is the first thing we tell you. If the records your build depends on are thin where you sell, you hear it in the source map — before you have paid for development.
Questions
Do permits include the project value?
Usually, though the declared valuation is a permit-office figure rather than a contract value and it should be treated as a sorting signal, not a quote. Which fields are published varies by county, and we map that per jurisdiction during scoping.
Can you cover counties outside our current territory?
Yes, and expansion is usually the cheapest change to make later — adding a county to a working pipeline is far less work than the first build. It is worth telling us your two-year footprint at scoping so the schema is designed for it.
How do we handle contractors who are already customers?
Suppression is part of the build. Your existing account list is matched against every run so reps only see genuinely new firms, and account managers can be alerted separately when an existing customer files a large permit.
