Custom lead generation software / Commercial Insurance Agencies
Custom lead generation software for insurance agencies
New businesses, new vehicles, new licences, new buildings. Every one of them is a policy that does not exist yet.
Sources this runs on
- Secretary of State business registrations
- FMCSA carrier registrations
- State contractor and occupational licence boards
- County business licences
Mapped for your states and counties before development starts — what each body publishes, how often, and whether contact detail is attached.
Commercial insurance producers spend most of their prospecting time on accounts that already have coverage and no reason to move. The productive minority are the businesses whose risk just changed, and public records announce those changes constantly.
A business registers. A contractor gets licensed and bonded. A carrier adds trucks to its FMCSA registration. A restaurant passes a first inspection. Each is a coverage requirement arriving on a known date, and software can be watching.
The commercial terms
What breaks in this industry
X-date guessing
Without a trigger, producers call blind and hear 'we're covered' most of the day.
Aggregator leads are shared and consumer-grade
Commercial lines are not well served by lead marketplaces built for auto and home.
Renewal timing is invisible
Nothing public says when a policy renews, so the alternative signal is a risk event.
Territory overlap
Multi-producer agencies routinely double-call the same account with no shared record.
Three builds that fix it
New-business coverage monitor
Watches state entity registrations and county business licences across your territory, filtered to the classes you write, and delivers newly formed businesses within days of filing — before the first policy is bound.
Fleet and carrier growth tracker
Monitors FMCSA carrier registrations for new authorities and changes in fleet size across your states. A carrier adding power units is a commercial auto conversation with a date attached.
Licence and bond renewal watcher
Tracks state contractor and occupational licence boards for new issuances, renewals and lapses. Bonding and liability requirements attach to those events, and the filing date tells your producer when to call.
The public sources behind it
Mapped for your states and counties before development starts — what each one publishes, how often, and what contact detail is attached.
Coverage is uneven by jurisdiction, and that is the first thing we tell you. If the records your build depends on are thin where you sell, you hear it in the source map — before you have paid for development.
Questions
Does this tell us when a policy renews?
No. Renewal dates are not public and any vendor implying otherwise is modelling, not reporting. What software gives you is the other trigger: a risk event with a filing date, which is often a better reason to call than a renewal anyway.
Can we use this for personal lines?
Largely no. Public business records are, by definition, business records. Personal-lines prospecting means consumer data and consumer rules, which is a different build with a much narrower legal path, and we would rather say so than sell you one.
How do we stay compliant calling new registrants?
TCPA and state Do-Not-Call rules apply, and a new LLC's listed number is frequently the owner's mobile, which pulls consumer restrictions into play. Scrub, keep a suppression list, and check your state's rules on solicitation. We build the sourcing; the outreach compliance sits with your agency.
