Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site and PermitPulse, whatever tools they browse with. This statement explains where we aim, what we have done, and what still needs work.

Trousdale Technologies LLC, operating as Lead Mining Company, is working to make leadminingcompany.com usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, browser zoom, or reduced-motion settings.

The standard we aim for

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat that as the bar to clear rather than a box we have ticked: parts of the site meet it today, and where they do not, we are working to close the gap.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML structure — one main heading per page, a single <main> landmark, and a "Skip to content" link as the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
  • Every form field has a label, and error messages are shown in text rather than by color alone.
  • Text uses a high-contrast palette on a dark background and can be resized with your browser zoom without breaking the layout; we do not disable pinch-zoom on mobile.
  • The decorative starfield and nebula backgrounds are purely visual and are hidden from assistive technology, so they add nothing a screen reader has to read out.
  • The cookie-consent notice can be operated by keyboard and offers an equally prominent Accept and Decline choice.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you where the site falls short than pretend it is perfect:

  • The account and data workspace requires JavaScript. If JavaScript is turned off, the sign-in and export tools will not load; a message says so.
  • Checkout runs on Stripe. The payment step is hosted by Stripe and follows their accessibility support, which is outside our direct control.
  • Some data tables in the subscriber workspace are dense, and we are still improving how they are announced to screen readers.

If any part of the site or a data export is difficult to use with your assistive technology, email us and we will help — including sending the information you need in a different, accessible format at no charge. Access to our data does not depend on being able to use the workspace UI.
