The record behind the Maui list
Owners of short-term rentals on Maui, Molokai and Lanai from Maui County's 2026 tax roll, with mailing addresses. Mail only.
Because this register publishes little direct contact information, the Maui list is strongest for direct mail, door-knocking routes and skip-tracing — each record carries the property address and the owner or operator name on file, which is exactly what a skip-trace needs to return a phone number.
Maui tax-roll records in numbers
None of the 13,628 Maui records carry a phone or email, because the registers behind them do not publish one. Every record has the property address, and 13,627 (100%) name the owner or business. 13,573 records add a separate mailing address, which is where an absentee owner gets mail.
The register files them by type: Maui TVR-STRH tax class (7,468, 55%) and Maui TVR-STRH tax class, apartment-zoned (Bill 9 list) (6,160, 45%).
Maui: every published status reads "On 2026 tax roll".
For Maui the first-seen date in the export replaces a filing date, which the source leaves blank. Newest arrival: November 4, 2026.
1,037 owner or business names sit on two or more Maui addresses, 3,000 records between them, with 104 addresses under the biggest one.

Maui's tax class and Bill 9
This list does not come from a permit register. Maui County taxes short-term rentals in their own class, called TVR-STRH, and we read the owners off its 2026 certified tax roll: 13,628 units, 13,573 with a mailing address. The parcel service gives the class as a code, and we read code 1100 as TVR-STRH because its count sits within 3% of the 13,234 parcels the county itself reports for the class.
6,160 of these units are on the county's list of apartment-zoned vacation rentals. Bill 9 phases those out by 2029 in West Maui and 2031 elsewhere, and it is being challenged in court, so the dates could move. Their owners have a decision to make, which is why managers, agents, lenders and long-term leasing companies may want to reach them. To pull only those units, type Bill 9 into the permit type filter.
There is no phone or email here, so this is a mail list. Many owners live on the mainland, and a company or trust holds a large share of the units.
