How Louisiana licenses lodging
Every business operating in the city holds an occupational licence from the Bureau of Revenue, and the licence names a business type. We keep hotels and motels, bed and breakfast inns, rooming and boarding houses, and other traveler accommodation.
Short-term rentals are licensed separately under the city's own permit program, and we keep those with rentals.

What the Louisiana file leaves out
This covers Orleans Parish only, and we hold no statewide Louisiana lodging list. There is no email on these records.
Our first copy is from 2026-11-04. The city prints a business start date on every row, so newer operators are easy to sort to the top.

Working the Louisiana list
The French Quarter and Marigny
Small guesthouses cluster tightly in a few ZIP codes, which suits anyone selling on foot or on a short route.
Bed and breakfast inns
Search permit types for breakfast to pull the inns alone. Their owners are more likely to answer the phone themselves.
