The Clearwater file in numbers

Those 376 records are 0.7% of the Florida file, which makes Clearwater the 28th-largest of the 80 Florida cities big enough for a page of their own.

69% of Clearwater records list a phone, 5 points below the Florida average of 74%; the rest still carry a name and address to match against. None of the Clearwater licenses carry an email, which is normal for the DBPR file; plan on phone and mail.

Houses dominate: 298 of the licenses are dwelling licenses (DWEL) and 78 are condominium licenses (CNDO), so houses make up 79% of the Clearwater file against 70% for Florida overall.

The Clearwater records spread across 16 ZIP codes; the largest, 33756, has 105 of them (28%). Phone coverage in 33756 is 72%.

43 of the Clearwater records (11%) carry a name that appears on two or more different Florida property addresses, close to the state figure of 11%. 20 sit under names with ten or more properties, which in practice means management companies and larger investors; the biggest single name holds 40 Florida addresses.

The DBPR file does not carry a filing date for the Clearwater licenses, so this page does not split them by year.

2 rows that name Clearwater but carry a ZIP code outside Florida, or come from a source whose city column is the owner's home town, are left out of these counts.

A practical order for Clearwater: start with ZIP 33756 (105 records, 72% with a phone), then 33767 (84); together they cover 50% of the city file. Pull the 43 records under multi-property names into their own list before you call, so one conversation covers every Clearwater property that name holds.

What the Clearwater file does not give you: email addresses and filing dates. The workaround: the export's first-seen date shows when each Clearwater record entered our database, which stands in for a filing date.
